Secondary Design Engineer - Dead Tank Circuit Breaker

As a member of the Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC), you will be part of a skilled team of engineers focused on various aspects of project execution. The team supports Hitachi Energy's units in over 40 countries, handling tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project management, system testing, installation supervision, documentation, and commissioning. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation of electrical schematic diagrams using tools like E3, AutoCAD, or similar software for high voltage Breakers - Reviewing SLD, Protection, and Trip Logics, generating BoM, and creating part numbers using SAP - Coordinating and reviewing schematic diagrams and drawings before submission to customers - Addressing technical queries from customers during project execution - Supporting cross-functional teams like SCM, project management, and quality to understand customer requirements - Assisting onsite colleagues with installation and commissioning by providing technical support - Coordinating with customers to resolve queries and ensure timely approval of engineering drawings - Ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering with a bachelor's or diploma degree - Proficiency in tools like E3, AutoCAD, or similar software - Familiarity with United States/North American design standards/IEEE is advantageous - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you are a qualified individual with a disability and require accommodation during the job application process, you can request reasonable accommodations by completing a general inquiry form on the Hitachi Energy website.
