SECOND DESIGN ENGINEER - VALVE

As a Second Design Engineer - Valve in Turbine Engineering, your role involves executing basic and detailed designs of Butterfly & Spherical Valve for Pump Storage Projects (PSPs), Large Hydro conventional & Large Refurbishment projects. You may hold designations ranging from Sr. Engineer to Manager based on your experience level. Key Responsibilities: - Basic & detailed design of Valve assemblies and components - Preparation of layouts, drawings, BoMs, purchase specifications, calculations, and analysis - Continuous improvement of products and processes for optimization - Technical troubleshooting at the shop and site - Handling customer queries and approvals for Indian and International projects - Collaborating and reviewing designs with technical experts in the parent company in Europe Qualification Requirements: - Education: B.E./ M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable Institute - Experience: 5+ years in mechanical design of Hydro Valves and Heavy Engineering Industrial components using 3D CAD software (preferably NX and TeamCenter) - Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering design concepts, materials, and manufacturing processes - Experience in technical troubleshooting, proactive mindset, avid learner, team player, and good communication skills - Languages: Proficiency in English and Hindi - Product Know-How: Hydro Valve Design & Engineering, product life cycle, readiness to travel Additional Details: As part of the Turbine engineering team, you will not only focus on Valve design but also gain exposure to entire hydro-power plant machinery, including Turbines, generators, governors, excitation systems, protection and control systems, and more. You will also work on understanding various manufacturing processes and materials required for turbine construction.
