Job Overview:

We are looking for an SEO Content Analyst to join our growing team. This role is essential in enhancing the visibility of our content across search engines, increasing organic traffic, and optimizing performance. You'll be responsible for analyzing SEO data, conducting keyword research, optimizing existing content, and collaborating with the content team to create SEO-friendly articles that drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keyword Research & Analysis:

  Perform keyword research to identify high-impact keywords and content opportunities for various sports categories.

• On-Page Optimization:

  Optimize existing content (blog posts, articles, landing pages) to improve organic rankings, using SEO best practices such as title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and internal linking.

• Content Strategy:

  Collaborate with the editorial team to develop SEO-driven content strategies, focusing on both evergreen and trending sports topics.

• SEO Audits:

  Conduct regular audits of the website content, headings and Keywords for Improved Rankings, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary updates to increase overall performance.

• Performance Monitoring:

  Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc., to monitor and analyze website traffic and rankings.

• Competitor Analysis:

  Conduct competitor research to uncover content gaps and identify opportunities for content development and improvement in SEO performance.

• Report Generation:

  Provide insights and regular reports on key SEO metrics, including traffic, rankings, and content performance.

• Technical SEO:

  Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proper website structure, page speed, mobile-friendliness, and schema markup are aligned with SEO best practices.

• Stay Updated:

  Keep up with the latest trends in SEO, search algorithms, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Proven experience (1+ years) in SEO content strategy, analysis, and implementation, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and similar platforms.
• Experience in keyword research, content optimization, Keyword gap analysis and competitor analysis.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices for on-page and off-page optimization.
• Ability to analyze data and turn it into actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A passion for sports and staying up-to-date with global sports trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with sports content and trends.
