As a Senior Software Engineer at EY, your role will involve ensuring that Clients" products are installed and meet their requirements with integration and performance management. You will work as part of a project team alongside Data Scientists, Project Managers, Fraud Analysts, and other peers to understand client needs, turn those needs into requirements, and execute on them. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing the full software development life cycle by building integrations and enhancements to Clients" core product. - Writing well-designed, testable code. - Integrating multiple software components into a fully functional software system. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems. - Deploying and supporting systems in production. - Complying with best practices and industry standards. - Working with Agile principles to regularly deliver quality products. - Ensuring proper feature deployment or product upgrades. - Providing Second Tier support for live clients. Required Qualifications and Skills: Mandatory Technical skills: - Experience in Java software development, JVM, or other modern languages. - Basic experience in Linux or UNIX systems. - Good troubleshooting skills. - SQL database or exposure to other relational databases. - Hands-on experience with development tools like Git or Maven. - Experience in Liquibase. - Docker. - Basic knowledge of Ansible. - Experience in Json, XML, and Yaml. - Basic experience in databases and distributed systems. - Cross-platform experience to identify and resolve integration issues. - System testing & Unit Test. - Experience in Release and Deployment Management process. - In-depth expertise in delivering large programs and projects practicing Agile Project Management / SAFE, Scrum Concepts. Certification in Agile is a plus. Optional Technical skills: - Experience with Cloud Computing - (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Experience in Java 8 or above. - NoSQL database. - GoCD. - Kubernetes. - Zookeeper. - RabbitMQ. - Cassandra. To qualify for the role, you must have: - A BS or MS in Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience. - Client engagement experience and ability to work with a client in a consultative manner. - Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
