As a Mobile QA Automation Engineering intern, your primary role involves a combination of quality assurance (QA) and automation tasks specific to mobile applications. You will be responsible for the following: - **Test Planning**: Assisting in creating and maintaining test plans for mobile applications. This includes understanding the application requirements and determining the scope of testing. - **Test Case Development**: Helping to develop detailed test cases for mobile application features. This involves considering both functional and non-functional aspects such as usability, performance, and security. - **Automation Scripting**: Learning to write automated test scripts using tools and frameworks like Appium, Selenium, XCTest, Espresso, or other mobile automation tools. These scripts help in automating repetitive test cases to improve efficiency and coverage. - **Execution and Reporting**: Executing test cases manually and through automation scripts. Recording test results and reporting defects using issue tracking systems like JIRA or Bugzilla. Assisting in generating test reports for stakeholders. - **Regression Testing**: Maintaining and executing regression test suites to ensure that new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. - **Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)**: Gaining exposure to CI/CD pipelines and processes, including integrating automated tests into the pipeline to ensure that code changes are thoroughly tested before deployment. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on Network Monitoring with Charles Proxy during mobile application testing. This involves utilizing Charles Proxy to monitor network activities and configure it to capture and analyze network traffic between the mobile application and external servers. This capability will help you inspect HTTP/HTTPS requests and responses, identify potential performance bottlenecks, debug API interactions, and ensure data security and privacy compliance. Familiarity with Charles Proxy enhances your ability to conduct thorough testing, particularly in scenarios involving network-dependent functionalities, such as data synchronization, authentication, and API integrations.,
