SDET Specialist Quality Assurance Engineering Job Description
About your role
As a Quality Assurance Engineering Professional you will be essential in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products Your role will involve executing comprehensive test plans identifying defects and collaborating with development teams to enhance the quality of our solutions This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills and contribute significantly to the reliability and success of our products What youll do Execute detailed quality assurance testing for software products Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases Identify and report software defects Analyze and understand product requirements to enable software test case creation by participating in requirement gathering analysis Create and evaluate test cases for accuracy and applicability for products under test Communicate testing progress through creating and maintaining test plans Provide the Squad and all stakeholders with clear and realtime updates regarding test status bug status and overall quality about the product by monitoring failures reporting bugs analyzing triaging automated tests running in the Continuous Integration system Find bugs and validate specifications through black box testing techniques like test matrices combination testing and risk analysis and gray box testing techniques like database querying and source code analysis Develop automated tests with the appropriate technologies Work closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing scripts Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team Responsibilities listed are not intended to be allinclusive and may be modified as necessary Experience youll need to have Experience in software quality assurance Experience in automation testing Experience in Agile methodologies 3 years of an equivalent combination of educational background related experience andor military experience
Experience that would be great to have
Experience with automated testing tools Experience in performance testing Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment CICD tools Familiarity with security testing practices Understanding of software development lifecycles Certification in software testing methodologies Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana Datadog wavefront etc
