Role Overview: As an Automation Engineer at GoKwik, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products used by millions of customers every day. Your main responsibility will be to write automated tests, validate APIs and UI components, drive quality using various frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve QA processes. Key Responsibilities: - Write clean, reusable automated tests using tools like Selenium or Playwright for web and mobile platforms. - Validate APIs, reusable UI components, and backend services to ensure flawless performance. - Drive quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD), Page Object Model (POM), and frameworks like TestNG and Maven. - Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to release features faster while maintaining high quality standards. - Identify gaps, propose solutions, and implement best practices to enhance QA processes continuously. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Java and experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright. - Hands-on experience with API testing tools like RestAssured and Postman. - Familiarity with TDD, Page Object Model, and frameworks like TestNG and Maven. - Strong attention to detail, a passion for quality, and a problem-solving mindset. - Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
