SDE II- Frontend developer (Shopify)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing responsive web applications using React, with a focus on React hooks, component architecture, and state management. Your expertise in Shopify Liquid, themes, and APIs will be crucial for building websites and applications that are compatible with various devices and screen sizes. You should have a strong command of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and be able to take ownership of features from design to production. Your role will also involve integrating with REST APIs, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Build responsive web applications using React - Utilize React hooks, component architecture, and state management effectively - Work with Shopify Liquid, themes, and APIs - Develop websites and applications that are responsive across different devices - Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 - Own features end-to-end from design to production - Integrate with REST APIs and optimize performance - Familiarize yourself with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows - Have exposure to testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library - Mentor juniors and collaborate in cross-functional teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 4+ years of hands-on experience in building responsive web apps using React - Experience with Shopify Liquid, themes, and Shopify APIs - Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 - Ability to own features end-to-end from design handoff to production - Experience integrating with REST APIs and optimizing performance - Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows - Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library - Comfortable mentoring juniors and collaborating in cross-functional teams Additional Company Details (if available): The company offers benefits such as health insurance, provident fund, and work from home options.
