As a Software Engineer in this role, you will have the opportunity to build a world-class product from scratch. You will be responsible for owning multiple microservices of the overall platform, ensuring accountability and taking initiatives to maintain the highest quality and best practices. Your role will also involve mentoring and guiding your fellow engineers to deliver top-notch results. You can expect to spend 90% of your time coding, with the remaining 10% dedicated to mentoring engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Own multiple microservices of the overall platform - Ensure accountability and initiatives are in place for maintaining the highest quality and best practices - Mentor and guide fellow engineers to deliver high-quality work - Code for 90% of the time, while mentoring engineers for the remaining time Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4 years of coding experience - Previous experience working on large-scale products - Excellent coding skills - Strong communication abilities - Proficiency in core CS concepts - Prior experience working on web-based products with a back-end or platform team - Strong background in Python Good to Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience working with a product organization - Experience in building high throughput product systems for B2B or B2C - Open-source contribution or freelancing experience - Experience with startups In this role, you can expect to work in a hybrid setup from Mumbai, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
