SDE 2/3 - Backend

Role Overview: As a Backend Developer at The Souled Store in Pune, you will play a crucial role in one of India's fastest-growing youth-focused lifestyle brands. The role offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Backend Developer to join a dynamic team. Your passion for backend systems, cloud-native applications, and microservices will be put to good use in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and cloud-native applications. - Architect and implement scalable microservices using Go, Node.js, or Spring Boot. - Utilize AWS cloud services for building, deploying, and monitoring applications. - Optimize systems for high availability, scalability, and performance. - Manage real-time data pipelines and caching mechanisms with Kafka, Redis, and Spark. - Design efficient database solutions using MySQL and NoSQL technologies. - Contribute to architectural design to meet eCommerce and high-scale system demands. - Drive best practices for CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth. Qualifications Required: - 3-6 years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development and microservices architecture. - Proficiency in Go, Node.js, Python, or Spring Boot. - Deep understanding of AWS services like S3, RDS, Lambda, and EC2. - Proven experience in designing systems for scale and high performance. - Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, Spark, and other distributed technologies. - Strong knowledge of MySQL and NoSQL databases. - Experience in system architecture design and implementation. - Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is highly desirable. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
