Scrum Master

Role Overview: As a Scrum Master, your primary responsibility will be to organize and lead Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, backlog review, iteration planning, release planning, and retrospectives. You will support the team in developing necessary skills and provide guidance on Agile/Scrum practices and values. Your role will involve ensuring that the team follows best practices, delivers committed work, and continuously improves in agility. Key Responsibilities: - Mentor and coach the team as needed to enhance their performance. - Evaluate the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization, guiding them towards higher levels of maturity. - Act as the Scrum Master for one or more teams, leading multiple simultaneous initiatives or medium complexity programs/releases. - Prepare and present progress reports, highlighting challenges and successes to the Senior Program Manager. - Remove impediments or guide the team in removing impediments, facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution. - Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. - Support and collaborate with the Product Owner, especially in backlog refinement and maintenance. - Work with other Scrum Masters to prioritize dependencies across teams and share best practices in community of practices sessions. - Identify minimum viable products (MVPs) and complete them in priority order. - Leverage data to measure and monitor progress using Agile Management Tools such as Confluence and JIRA. - Ensure timely resolution of dependencies and risks to maintain a steady flow of work. - Utilize agile metrics to analyze and improve sprint planning. Qualifications Required: - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification. - Minimum three years of experience in the Scrum Master role with a software development team applying Scrum principles and practices diligently. - Deep understanding of agile metrics like backlog tracking, burn-down charts, velocity, and user stories. - Ability to represent both business and technology perspectives effectively. - Demonstrated application of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and empowerment. - Successful application of well-documented patterns and techniques in Scrum, such as burndown technologies and retrospective formats.,
