Scrub Nurse – CTVS

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Scrub Nurse – CTVS to assist surgeons during cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries by maintaining a sterile field and ensuring the availability of required instruments and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during CTVS procedures by scrubbing, gowning, and gloving
• Prepare OT, instruments, sutures, and consumables for cardiac surgeries
• Maintain strict aseptic and sterile techniques during procedures
• Handle cardiac surgery instruments, grafts, and disposables
• Anticipate surgeon’s needs and provide instruments promptly
• Ensure proper counting of sponges, needles, and instruments
• Follow OT protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
• Coordinate with OT staff, perfusionists, and anesthesia team

Requirements:

• GNM / B.Sc Nursing with valid Nursing Council registration
• Prior experience as a Scrub Nurse in CTVS / Cardiac OT is mandatory
• Knowledge of cardiac surgical instruments and procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
