Description
As a SCM Procurement Team Lead in the Real Estate Division at Siemens Energy, you will play a vital role in managing procurement operations for various infrastructure projects including civil construction, MEP, fit-out, renovation, maintenance, integrated facility management, security, AMC, etc. Your responsibilities will involve strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiation, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The scope of your duties may vary based on project type, location, and business requirements. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering or construction management. A Master's in Business Administration would be advantageous. Your experience in contract negotiation, supplier evaluation, and project-based procurement will be key to your success. Familiarity with SCM tools like SAP, Oracle, and e-auctions will also be beneficial. Your key responsibilities will include leading procurement activities for civil works, construction materials, and infrastructure services across offices and factories. You will identify and manage procurement risks, opportunities, and delivery performance while driving cost reduction and optimization initiatives. Monitoring supply market conditions to prevent disruptions and implementing sustainable strategic procurement plans are also crucial aspects of your role. Collaborating with global and regional procurement networks, aligning procurement strategies with project timelines, and coordinating with segment HQ and country SCM to implement best practices are essential for success in this position. Your ability to enhance Contribution to Net Income (CNI) through effective negotiations and value engineering will be highly valued. Preferred candidates will have experience in procurement, particularly in real estate or infrastructure projects. A strong understanding of civil construction processes, materials, and vendor ecosystems is desirable. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management skills are key, along with a solid grasp of strategic sourcing, risk and compliance, contract negotiation, and management.
