SCM Business Data Steward

As a SCM Master Data Maintenance Specialist at Astellas, your role involves creating and maintaining supply chain master data in global systems such as SAP S/4, IBP, and rfXcel. Your responsibilities include: - Acting as a Business Data Steward, following Astellas master data governance policies and process designs. - Completing assigned tasks in Implementation Reports and escalating any deviations to the SPD process lead. - Understanding product flows and business scenarios to implement master data accordingly. - Planning and managing your work in line with agreed timelines, while keeping other business data stewards informed. - Applying general master data rules and procedures relevant to your work. - Working with procedures and systems related to the development of packaging materials and executing mass updates upon business request. - Managing data quality by actively contributing to meeting data standards and flagging the need for adjustments. - Handling data quality incident management by flagging risks and potential issues to the technical data steward and supporting investigations into root causes. - Executing periodic de-activation requests and participating in projects related to SCM master data. Qualifications required for this role include: - A bachelor's degree in education is preferred. - Understanding of master data management model and tools to set up and maintain master data in accordance with quality standards. - Knowledge of supply chain flows and their relationship with SCM master data. - Hands-on experience with operational processes in common ERP systems like SAP, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. - Ability to work in teams and contribute to knowledge management and data management in the area of supply chain master data. Preferred qualifications include experience with Microsoft Office tools, SAP S/4, ERP, IBP systems, and RfXcel system.
