Job Description

Role Overview: As a Copy Editor/Scientific Editor at Indegene, you will play a crucial role in the Medical Legal Regulatory review process to ensure compliance and accuracy of language in submissions. Your responsibilities will include proofreading and copyediting assigned deliverables, editing material content for grammar and adherence to brand guidelines, identifying inconsistencies, and verifying changes to final production phase. Your sharp eye for detail and ability to work well under pressure will be essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Proofread and copyedit promotional and non-promotional content to meet quality standards - Edit material content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency of language - Identify inconsistencies, awkward wording, and discrepancies in comparison to previous versions - Review reference list for compliance with style guides - Verify implementation of changes and proofread pieces to final production phase - Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences - 2 to 6 years of experience in copyediting pharmaceutical promotional and disease education material - Strong written and oral English communication skills - Familiarity with style guides such as the AMA Manual of Style and Chicago Manual of Style - Proficiency in editing documents with US or UK English requirements - Good understanding of scientific and medical terminologies,
