Job Description

The Aga Khan School, Sidhpur is seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher (TGT) to join the academic team for an immediate opening. The role involves teaching Science to middle school students while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong foundation in scientific concepts.
The Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and board guidelines. The teacher will use a variety of instructional strategies, including experiments, demonstrations, project-based learning, and technology-enabled teaching methods to enhance student understanding and interest in Science.
Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and lab activities; conducting regular evaluations of student progress; and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will provide constructive feedback to students and parents and support learners with different academic needs.
The role also requires effective classroom management, collaboration with colleagues, and participation in academic planning, staff meetings, trainings, and school activities. The teacher is expected to contribute to curriculum enrichment, laboratory safety, and continuous improvement of teaching practices.
Candidates must possess a relevant graduation with B.Ed, have 3 - 5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level, and demonstrate a strong command of spoken and written English. Prior experience in an English-medium school is preferred. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, student-centric, disciplined, and committed to holistic education.
