Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. The School Psychologist will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and students to promote a positive and supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will assess students' psychological and educational needs, develop intervention strategies, and provide counseling services to support their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct counseling and mental health services to students experiencing academic, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills.
  • Support crisis intervention and provide guidance on coping strategies during difficult situations.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop classroom strategies that enhance learning and student well-being.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and services.
  • Offer training and support to educators and parents on mental health topics and behavior management techniques.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.
  • Stay updated on best practices, policies, and laws related to school psychology and special education.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological and educational assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, educators, and parents.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis intervention skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,916.14 - ₹34,842.21 per month
