Scholarship Support Team

As a member of the Scholarship Support Team for the Azim Premji Scholarship, you will play a crucial role in providing end-to-end support and processing of scholarship applications for girl students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The scholarship program, initiated in 2024-2025 by the Foundation, aims to facilitate higher education opportunities for deserving individuals. Initially launched in specific geographies such as Bangalore, Kalaburagi, and Tonk, the program is set to expand its coverage nationwide over the coming years. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around managing the Scholarship Management System (portal) and coordinating with the external support team. This includes addressing applicant queries, assisting team members in application screening and completion, verifying eligibility criteria, collecting necessary documents from applicants, guiding existing beneficiaries through the renewal process, as well as preparing reports and summaries. Additionally, you may be required to handle any other tasks related to these core duties as they arise. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in sectors such as banking. An undergraduate degree from a reputable institution in any discipline is essential. Proficiency in basic operating systems and data handling, along with advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial, including proficiency in English and at least one regional language such as Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Telugu, or Odia.
