Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India Experience: 5+ years About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to take on a dual role as Technical Project Manager and Sales Lead for the Government Sector in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical project management expertise, sales experience, and a deep understanding of government procurement processes . This role demands a proactive business development approach, excellent stakeholder management, and strategic thinking to drive project success and business growth . Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Sales (Government Sector) Identify & Target Opportunities: Proactively pursue new business within government departments and PSUs in Uttar Pradesh. Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with government officials, decision-makers, and stakeholders. Lead Generation & Proposals: Research, track tenders (RFPs, RFQs), prepare compliant technical & commercial proposals, and present effectively. Sales Strategy: Develop & implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets. Conduct market research to track competitors and trends. Negotiation & Closure: Lead negotiations and close contracts with favorable terms. 2. Technical Project Management End-to-End Leadership: Manage full project lifecycle – initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Scope & Resource Planning: Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resources. Stakeholder Communication: Act as liaison between government clients and internal teams. Ensure regular updates. Risk & Compliance: Identify risks, dependencies, and challenges. Implement mitigation plans while ensuring compliance with government standards. Quality Assurance: Deliver projects that meet technical specifications and client expectations. Team Coordination: Guide cross-functional teams and foster collaboration for successful execution. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field. Experience: 5+ years in technical project management & sales, with significant government client experience. Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of government procurement, tendering, and contracting. Networking: Established government network in Lucknow/Uttar Pradesh. Technical Acumen: Knowledge of SDLC, IT infrastructure, and technical concepts. Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum; PMP certification is a plus. Communication: Strong verbal & written skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and solution-oriented mindset. Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
