Scala Developer

As a Lead Scala Developer in Pune with 4-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable microservices using Scala, Akka, and/or LAGOM. Your tasks will involve: - Building containerized applications with Docker - Orchestrating applications using Kubernetes - Managing real-time messaging with Apache Pulsar - Integrating databases using Slick Connector and PostgreSQL - Enabling search and analytics features with ElasticSearch - Streamlining deployment workflows with GitLab CI/CD pipelines Collaboration with cross-functional teams and writing clean, well-structured, and maintainable code are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and expertise in Akka or LAGOM frameworks. Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Pulsar, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes is required. Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ, monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, frontend frameworks such as React or Angular, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure will be advantageous. Candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field are preferred.
