Job Description

Role Overview: You should possess strong skills in Scala with a focus on functional programming. Your knowledge should also extend to data structures, multithreading, memory management, monad, functors, applicative, and the Cats library. It is essential to have experience with Scala Build Tool and Linux, as well as proficiency in Core Java and scripting with a solid programming background. Additionally, a strong understanding of SQL and databases is necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate good analytical, debugging, and design skills - Interface with senior management and stakeholders in EMEA and other regions - Work in an AGILE development methodology - Be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Desirable Qualifications: - Exposure to Jenkins - Work experience in global markets equities domain (preferably low latency) - Knowledge of cloud and containerization, including Kubernetes/Openshift - Candidates with Java expertise willing to learn Scala will also be considered - Functional programming experience would be beneficial Additional Details: This is an immediate requirement for candidates with 5+ years of experience who are open to working on test automation and BAU NPT remediation.
