Scaffolding Inspector

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding systems on oil & gas facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents and minimize risks.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement effective scaffolding designs, layouts, and installation procedures.
• Provide technical guidance on scaffolding design, construction, testing, and maintenance best practices.
• Ensure all inspection reports are accurate, detailed, and submitted timely for review by stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 5-8 years' experience in Oil & Gas industry with a focus on scaffolding inspection or related field (e.g., engineering).
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., OSHA).
• Proficiency in conducting thorough visual examinations of scaffolding systems using specialized equipment (e.g., cameras) when necessary.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting findings effectively to clients/stakeholders; ability to present complex information clearly.
