SCADA / IoT Engineer

As a SCADA / IoT Engineer at XXXXX, a fast-growing clean energy technology company, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing the renewable asset management and SCADA platform. This platform will integrate solar, wind, and battery systems into a unified dashboard to optimize and monitor renewable power assets efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop SCADA/IoT systems specifically tailored for renewable energy applications. - Integrate various field devices and sensors such as inverters, meters, and weather sensors using protocols like Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT, and RS485. - Create robust data pipelines to enable real-time monitoring and analytics of renewable assets. - Develop visually appealing dashboards to track key performance indicators, system performance, and fault detection effectively. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for feature enhancements and smooth deployments of the SCADA platform. Qualifications Required: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SCADA/IoT or industrial automation projects. - Proficiency in Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT, and REST APIs is essential. - Prior experience with databases like PostgreSQL/MongoDB; exposure to InfluxDB or TimescaleDB would be a plus. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java (Spring Boot), or Node.js. - Experience in using React, Next.js, or Grafana for creating interactive dashboards. - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure and container tools such as Docker/Kubernetes would be beneficial.
