Role Overview: As a Data Science Specialist in Spend Analytics and Project Management at Accenture, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of AI/ML-powered procurement and analytics solutions. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and deploy platforms that identify cost-saving opportunities, enhance supplier management, and deliver business intelligence to enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze procurement spend using various techniques to classify into a custom taxonomy in Accenture's spend analytics tool. - Participate in calls with stakeholders to gather data from sources like email, Dropbox, Egnyte, and databases. - Lead assessment of data quality, identify gaps, and create summaries as per database requirements. - Assist in creating data cleansing rules and incorporating data clarifications provided by data source owners. - Support in creating multi-dimensional data views, data analysis reports, and extracts. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with threading limitations and multi-process architecture in Python. - Ability to integrate multiple data sources using MySQL. - Strong coding knowledge in languages such as R, SQL, JavaScript, Java, CSS, C++. - Familiarity with statistical and data mining techniques like GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis. - Experience with advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics including regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc. Additional Information: With 6-8 years of relevant experience in data modeling, ETL automation, AI/ML, and front-end design, you should have extensive experience in handling and classifying spend data using AI/ML techniques.
