Job Description

Job Title: SAS Administrator (Linux) 5+ Years

Shift timing:

3rd shift -- 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM IST

SAS Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain
SAS Grid on Linux
, ensuring high availability and performance.
Manage
installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching
of SAS environments.
Develop and optimize
Unix shell scripts
for automation and system monitoring.
Troubleshoot performance issues and work closely with infrastructure teams to resolve system-related concerns.
Implement security policies, user access management, and performance tuning.
Monitor system logs, manage backups, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

5 to 7 years
of experience in
SAS Administration
, with a focus on
SAS Grid
in a
Linux
environment.
Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting
skills for automation and system maintenance.
Strong Python
skills for automation and system maintenance.
Experience with
SAS Metadata Server, SAS Compute Servers, and SAS Studio
administration.
Proficiency in troubleshooting
SAS performance issues, log analysis, and system tuning
.
Familiarity with
job scheduling tools
and workload management on SAS Grid.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
cloud-based SAS environments
(AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Familiarity with
Kerberos, LDAP, or Active Directory integration
in SAS environments.
Knowledge of
database connectivity (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
with SAS.
