Job Description

Job Summary:

SAP UI5 Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance custom SAP UI5/Fiori applications.
Collaborate with SAP backend developers (ABAP/ODATA) to integrate front-end applications with SAP systems.
Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and UI/UX discussions.
Troubleshoot issues and provide bug fixes and performance tuning.
Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and adherence to SAP development standards.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Stay updated with the latest SAP UI5 and Fiori innovations and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:

4+ years of hands-on experience in
SAP UI5/Fiori
Strong proficiency in
HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, and XML
.
Experience in developing custom Fiori applications and extending standard SAP Fiori apps.
Deep understanding of
SAP Gateway and OData services integration
.
Familiarity with
SAP Web IDE
,
Business Application Studio (BAS)
, and Git.
Experience in debugging and performance optimization of UI5 applications.
Good understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
Basic understanding of SAP modules and processes (e.g., MM, SD, FI) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
SAP Fiori/UI5 certification is a plus.
Exposure to mobile-responsive Fiori design and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) is advantageous.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
