Job Description

SAP Technical Consultant (SAP Basis) is an SME in the SAP Technology space. He/she will have deep knowledge of the Shell IT infrastructure setup and will drive the integration of the new system/platform into Shell's IT landscape. This includes knowledge of SAP technology, infrastructure requirements, authentication protocols, network dependencies, and other necessary integration requirements. For the application or technology being developed / deployed, the Technical Consultant typically performs the following: Skills needed. Ideal candidate for the team would have the following skills: 1. Strong SAP Basis foundational Skills (Expert Level, Non-negotiable) 2. S/4 HANA Experience with HANA DBA Skills (Expert Level, non-negotiable) 3. SAP on Oracle DBA expert 4. SAP ABAP (Expertise) - (if the candidate doesnt have this expertise, a supplier could propose a separate resource) 5. Azure experience is needed. Ability to work under a team lead and also work with multiple stakeholders from multiple geo location 13. Self-starter and ability to own and deliver things start to finish. 14. Good communication skills with good stakeholder management. Candidate should have 10-15 years of experience. Special Challenges: Need to work across organization boundaries alongside multiple stakeholders which include architects, delivery teams, and infrastructure providers to ensure alignment on the adoption of new SAP technologies, standards and best practices in Shell. Actively stay abreast of SAP technological advancement as they evolve and apply them as needed in Shell. Stay connected with external network to acquire best practices that could be adopted in Shell. Be part of a sustainable pool of SAP technical expertise that ensure Shell has the ability to manage its complex SAP landscape. Have experience of working with outsourced partners
