SAP Technical Architect

Position Overview

SAP Supply Chain Technical Solution Architect

As a trusted advisor to both IT and business stakeholders, the Architect will drive innovation, ensure solution alignment with strategic goals, and enable digital transformation across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Design

• Lead architecture and high-level design for SAP Supply Chain solutions (greenfield, brownfield, and hybrid).
• Define integration points across S/4HANA, IBP, EWM, TM, PP/DS, MM, Ariba, and third-party systems.
• Deliver architecture blueprints, data models, process flows, and interface specifications.

2. Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business leaders, consultants, and developers to understand requirements and define optimal solutions.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Supply Chain solutions.
• Conduct workshops, proof of concepts, and solution presentations to drive alignment.

3. Technical Leadership

• Guide technical teams on ABAP, BTP, CPI, CI-DS, OData, Fiori, and integration approaches.
• Enforce SAP best practices, performance standards, and scalability principles.
• Oversee technical governance, documentation, system security, and compliance.

4. Project Delivery

• Support pre-sales, RFPs, and solutioning activities including effort estimation and proposal development.
• Lead technical execution of SAP Supply Chain projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and align delivery with business goals.

5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Champion the use of SAP BTP extensions, AI/ML, analytics, and automation in supply chain processes.
• Keep current with SAP roadmap, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Identify and propose continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business operations.

Required Skills & Experience-

Education

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 12+ years in SAP ecosystem with at least 5 years in architecture or technical solution design roles.

Technical Expertise

• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain modules (IBP, APO, EWM, TM, PP/DS, MM, QM).
• Strong experience in integration technologies: SAP CI, CI-DS, CPI, APIs, IDocs, RFCs, BTP services.
• Proficiency in Fiori/UI5, ABAP on HANA, CDS views, OData services.
• Exposure to cloud, on-premise, and hybrid SAP landscapes.

Architecture Skills

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SAP EA).
• Ability to create solution blueprints, define technical landscapes, and build migration strategies.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Skilled in driving workshops and delivering strategic presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certified Technology/Integration Architect or SAP Supply Chain certification.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IBP and advanced planning tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, RPA, IoT integration within SAP Supply Chain.
• Experience integrating SAP with SaaS platforms such as Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, etc.
