Role: Senior Consultant Location: Bengaluru (Full -Time) Exp: 5 - 8 Yrs About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Consultant – CI-DS to join our high-performing consulting team. In this role, you will act as the technical lead for SAP CI-DS implementations and support projects. You’ll work closely with clients to design, implement, and manage SAP data integration solutions involving SAP IBP, S/4HANA, and BW systems. As the key point of contact for both customers and internal teams, your role is critical to the success of end-to-end project delivery — from planning and workshops to cutover and go-live. Your Responsibilities: Act as the central contact and technical lead for SAP CI-DS integration projects. Manage the complete project lifecycle: installation, interface development, testing, deployment, and documentation. Conduct technical workshops with customers and stakeholders. Oversee and execute project documentation and technical specs for CI-DS and IBP integration. Perform data reconciliation, cutover planning, and go-live support. Analyze data from SAP S/4HANA / BW and facilitate seamless integration with SAP IBP. Lead support and maintenance activities for CI-DS-related implementations. What You Bring 5–8 years of experience with SAP CI-DS (Cloud Integration for Data Services). Solid understanding of SAP ERP / BW architecture and process orchestration. Familiarity with ABAP coding standards and best practices. Experience with SAP IBP Add-on in ERP systems is a strong advantage. ABAP Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs and solutions for S/4HANA environments. Proficiency in ABAP programming language (OOABAP, CDS, AMDP, RAP). Experience with SAP Enhancement Framework (SEWA, BADI, User Exits). Develop and maintain custom ABAP code, including reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RFC, BAPI, ALE, IDOC, BDC, LSMW). Experience with web services (SOAP/REST/HTTP POST) and ODATA Optimize ABAP code for performance and efficiency, ensuring optimal system performance. Troubleshoot and resolve ABAP-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Familiarity with SAP HANA architecture and technologies. Knowledge of SAP data dictionary objects (tables, fields, domains, structures, views). Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO). S/4HANA Migration: Participate in SAP S/4HANA migration projects, including data migration, system conversion, and landscape transformation. Develop and execute data migration strategies and scripts for migrating data from ECC to S/4HANA. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., functional consultants, project managers) to ensure smooth migration processes. Ensure data integrity and quality during the migration process. Additionally: Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team. Document ABAP code and migration processes. Adhere to SAP coding standards and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development. Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
