Job Description

About the Role

SAP Security Consultant

You will work closely with BASIS, functional, and technical teams to ensure secure and compliant system migrations and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement
security roles and authorizations
in SAP S/4 HANA post-migration.
Conduct
security analysis, remediation, and testing
during SAP system upgrades and migrations.
Support
user and role administration
across development, quality, and production systems.
Perform
SUIM and ST03N analysis
for identifying unused roles, transactions, and cleanup opportunities.
Collaborate with BASIS and functional teams to validate
authorization objects
and
segregation of duties (SoD)
risks.
Manage
GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
processes (if implemented).
Review and maintain
audit and compliance requirements
related to SAP security.
Prepare security documentation, test cases, and knowledge transfer material.

Required Skills & Experience

4 to 6 years of experience as an
SAP Security Consultant
.
Hands-on experience in
SAP S/4 HANA migration or upgrade projects
.
Strong knowledge of
user administration
,
role design
,
authorization concepts
.
Experience in SAP security across modules (FI, MM, SD, etc.).
Familiarity with tools such as
SU01, PFCG, SUIM, ST01, STAUTHTRACE
, etc.
Experience with
SAP Fiori authorization
concepts is a plus.
Exposure to
SAP GRC Access Control
(optional but preferred).
Good understanding of
audit requirements
,
SoD
, and compliance.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
