Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled SAP SD/MM Implementation Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules. The role requires strong technical knowledge, business process understanding, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in full-cycle SAP SD and MM implementations and upgrades.
  
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  
• Customize SAP SD and MM modules including configuration of master data, pricing, order management, billing, procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification.
  
• Collaborate with business users to design solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  
• Develop and support interfaces, enhancements, user exits, BAPIs, and reports using ABAP.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and post-go-live support.
  
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  
• Prepare detailed documentation including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
  
• Provide end-user training and support knowledge transfer sessions.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including FI/CO, PP, WM, and BASIS teams.
  
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and compliance standards.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  
• 6+ years of experience in SAP SD and MM module implementation and support.
  
• Strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management) and MM (Procurement, Inventory Management, Material Master).
  
• Experience with SAP configuration and customization in SD and MM modules.
  
• Basic ABAP knowledge for developing reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
  
• Good understanding of SAP integration points between SD, MM, FI, and other modules.
  
• Experience in requirement gathering, functional design, and process mapping.
  
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile project management is a plus.
  
• SAP certification in SD/MM is a plus.
  

Preferred:

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD/MM modules.
  
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications related to SD and MM.
  
• Exposure to SAP Workflow and EDI integration.
