Role Overview

The SAP SD Consultant will lead and deliver Sales and Distribution solutions on S/4HANA, spanning configuration, design, and RICEFW deliverables. The role involves reviewing functional specifications, producing technical documentation, translating requirements into robust configuration and enhancements, and executing thorough technical unit testing. The consultant will independently design solutions, run client workshops, and support at least one full-cycle implementation. Collaboration across functional teams and rigorous adherence to project processes and documentation standards are essential.

Required Qualifications

• 4-6 years of hands-on SAP SD experience
• Hands-on S/4HANA implementation experience (at least one full-cycle)
• Strong configuration and design expertise in Sales, Deliveries, Transportation & Shipment, and Billing
• Ability to independently design solutions and conduct client workshops
• Experience with RICEFW/WRICEF objects and technical unit testing
• Ability to review functional specs and prepare clear technical/design documentation
• Client-facing collaboration with good industry/process understanding
• Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments; strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with project management tools, timesheet tracking, and documenting MoM
• Good understanding of SD functional processes; integration awareness with MM/PP/FI-CO
• Desirable: exposure to CS, Variant Configuration (VC), Vistex, Public Cloud, Settlement Management, or aATP

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP SD processes for Sales, Deliveries, Transportation & Shipment, and Billing on S/4HANA
• Develop across RICEFW components (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms/workflows) in alignment with SD processes
• Review functional specifications and translate them into configuration, technical designs, and efficient code/enhancements
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical/solution documentation across project phases
• Perform rigorous technical unit testing (TUT) and support defect resolution with functional teams
• Independently run client workshops and drive solution design decisions
• Contribute to full-cycle implementations, supporting explore/blueprint, realize/build, test, deploy, and hypercare
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders for issue resolution and integration needs
• Accurately track timesheets, use assigned project management tools, and capture minutes of meetings (MoM)
• Operate with high attention to detail and quality in a structured, process-driven environment
