SAP SD and BRIM SOM

Role Overview

This role leads end-to-end solutioning across SAP SD and SAP BRIM Subscription Order Management (SOM) for subscription-driven businesses. The consultant translates business requirements into SAP configurations covering order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and credit management, while enabling subscription lifecycle processes in SOM. They design and integrate cross-module processes with FI/CO, CRM, and related SAP components to support recurring revenue and digital sales channels. The position requires strong troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and hands-on configuration in S/4HANA or ECC environments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in SAP consulting with strong SAP SD focus
• At least 24 years hands-on experience with SAP BRIM Subscription Order Management (SOM)
• Deep SAP SD expertise: order management, pricing, billing, delivery, credit management
• Understanding of BRIM landscape and components; exposure to CI and/or Convergent Charging is a plus
• Strong cross-module integration knowledge with FI/CO, CRM, and related SAP modules
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into SAP configurations and solutions
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• SAP SD and/or SAP BRIM certifications (highly desirable)
• Domain knowledge in subscription models, recurring revenue, and digital sales channels
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and digital transformation initiatives (preferred)
• Experience in technology industries leveraging subscription services (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and configuration for SAP SD and BRIM SOM to support subscription-based business models
• Own end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes including order entry, delivery, billing, and credit management
• Model subscription offerings in SOM and align product catalog, pricing, and contract terms with business needs
• Design and implement integration touchpoints with FI/CO, CRM, and other SAP components
• Translate business requirements into functional designs and system configuration; document solutions and process flows
• Configure pricing (condition technique), billing plans, recurring charges, and settlement for subscription scenarios
• Support SIT/UAT, cutover, and go-live; provide hypercare and production support with strong troubleshooting
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve issues and optimize performance
• Advise on S/4HANA capabilities and roadmap impacts for SD/BRIM processes
• Promote best practices for recurring revenue operations and digital sales channels
