SAP SCM Functional Specialist

Responsible for analyzing business processes and requirements, coordinate same with Local Key Users and Global Process Owners and jointly design future processes as per business requirements. Designing processes, overall architecture and solutions.

Executing required system customizations, completing system custom developments, coordinating and testing same with business functions. Supporting business key users for template training, additions to template and supporting them in respective data preparation and verification. Candidate must have at least 2 years of production and quality domain experience and more than 4 years of SAP PP QM or MM WM module experience as functional specialist / expert.

Job Responsibilities

1) Understand & analyze business requirements, prepare solution design, functional specification document and configure SAP PP QM or SAP MM WM modules related tasks independently.

2) Design functional specifications for approved business requirements related to customer developments like workflows, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.

3) Work closely with ABAP developer and execute enhancements and developments, test and arrange user acceptance testing.

4) Understanding of integration of cross functional modules.

5) Ability to understand business processes and work in a team environment, effectively interacting with business process owners.

6) Support business key users effectively for UAT, data preparation and deploying respective programs to productive system and online support for issues getting reported in productive system.

7) Train business key users for new developments and template process retraining.

• Should be adaptable and able to handle pressure situations.
• Individual working attitude, good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently.

• Production and Quality domain knowledge and complete business process understanding.
• SAP ABAP debugging knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of S4 HANA will be an added advantage.
