Your role and responsibilities

Responsible for the design, integrity and quality of our D&A solution. Design solution on the Finance Snowflake platform which will support business or function requirements. Responsible that the Finance solution/service provides the required functionality and meets the cost expectations of business. Collaborates with and contributes to project set-up and delivery as well as to service operations optimization. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Finance Services business Finance Process Data Systems division in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: . Design and implement advanced SAC Planning models, including complex calculations, allocations, and predictive forecasting. . Strong knowledge of data management concepts and data governance in a planning environment. . Experienced with performance tuning and monitoring tools within SAC and BW/4HANA. . Optimize data models and ensure high system performance through advanced scripting and query tuning. . Define data governance, authorization models, and compliance controls with SAC Planning . Work closely with finance stakeholders to translate planning requirements into robust technical designs. . Provide technical leadership to development team, ensuring that all solutions follow established architectural guidelines and technical standards. . Stay informed on SAC roadmap developments and introduce relevant new functionalities.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and BW/4HANA certifications are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAC Planning architecture and development.
• Proven track record of implementing large-scale planning models handling complex financial planning scenarios. In-depth knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA data modeling and integration techniques.
• Advanced skills in SAC Data Actions, Advanced Formulas, API-based data integrations, and predictive planning scenarios.
• Experience in financial planning processes (Budgeting, Forecasting, Rolling Forecasts) and a solid understanding of key financial metrics.
• Ability to lead technical teams and mentor developers on best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical solutions to non-technical finance stakeholders.
• Experience working on finance transformation programs involving SAC and enterprise-level ERP solutions. Strong focus on continuous learning and exploring emerging technologies in the planning and analytics space.
