SAP S/4HANA Core ERP Conversion & Migration Consultant

We are looking for a proactive SAP S/4HANA Core ERP Conversion & Migration Consultant with 1-3 years of hands-on SAP experience to support end-to-end SAP ECC S/4HANA conversion, data migration, and system transformation projects. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (JLPT N3+), detail-oriented, and capable of working with Japanese stakeholders alongside technical teams to drive smooth transition and cutover activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. S/4HANA Conversion & Migration Activities
• Support SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA system conversion including pre-conversion checks, simplification items review, and readiness assessment. • Assist in SUM/DMO migration cycles, including sandbox, development, QA, and production cutovers. • Execute data migration activities (Master & Transactional Data) using tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, BODS or LSMW. • Support data validation, reconciliation, and error fixing before and after migration. • Work closely with Basis and functional teams to ensure smooth technical conversion.

2. Functional & Technical Support
• Provide support across Core ERP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP) during conversion cycles. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse system issues and propose resolutions. • Validate simplification item impacts for S/4HANA. • Assist in configuration changes needed for S/4HANA compatibility.

3. Project Delivery & Documentation
• Prepare and maintain functional specs, process documents, test scripts, and migration reports. • Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and defect resolution. • Assist in preparing cutover plans, migration checklists, and timeline tracking.

4. Stakeholder & Japanese Client Coordination
• Communicate effectively with Japanese stakeholders, project teams, and business users. • Translate business requirements, issues, and functional updates between Japanese and English as needed. • Participate in client meetings and provide regular updates in Japanese.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical / Functional Skills
• 13 years of experience in SAP ERP / S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects. • Good understanding of ERP core modules: FI/CO, MM, SD (at least one required). • Hands-on experience with data migration tools – LTMC, Migration Cockpit, LSMW, or BODS (any). • Basic understanding of S/4HANA simplification items, Fiori concepts and conversion methodologies.
