SAP S4 Release and Cutover Lead

As a SAP S/4 Release Management & Cutover Lead, your role involves overseeing the deployment and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA systems to ensure seamless integration of new releases and updates. Your responsibilities include: - Release Planning and Coordination: - Develop and manage release schedules in alignment with project timelines and business objectives. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare, validate, and deploy releases. - Deployment Management: - Oversee the deployment of SAP S/4HANA releases, ensuring safe migration into the production environment. - Handle transport movements across different SAP components. - System Maintenance: - Support and maintain the SAP system landscape, including installation, maintenance, and housekeeping of SAP Solution Manager. - Monitor system performance and address issues promptly. - Change and Risk Management: - Implement and manage release management processes for SAP configuration and code through all production and project environments. - Ensure adherence to change management processes and continuous improvement practices. - Testing Coordination: - Coordinate testing activities to validate release readiness and ensure all changes meet quality standards before deployment. - Finalize cutover plan with a detailed runbook and conduct mock cutovers before actual go-live. - Hypercare Support Plan: - Work closely with Digital Technology and Business Teams to provide Hypercare Support. Qualifications required for this role include: - Technical Expertise: - Strong knowledge of SAP technical architecture, landscape, environment, and transport orders. - Experience with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), NON-SAP Release Management, Cutover tools, and STMS monitoring is desirable. - Experience: - 2 to 6 years of experience in SAP release management or related roles. - Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITIL processes. - Total Experience of 8 to 12 Years in SAP. - Analytical Skills: - Ability to analyze complex technical issues, recommend solutions, and implement them effectively. - Communication Skills: - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences. - Education: - Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, or a related field.
