Role & responsibilities

Lead or support end-to-end SAP QM implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.

Gather and analyze business requirements and design appropriate SAP QM solutions.

Configure SAP QM module in areas such as:

Quality Planning (inspection planning, master inspection characteristics)

Quality Inspection (inspection lot creation, results recording, defect recording)

Quality Control (usage decisions, quality notifications)

Quality Certificates

Audit Management

Batch Management and Serial Numbering (if applicable)

Integration of QM with MM (material procurement), PP (in-process inspection),

Define inspection processes for incoming materials, in-process checks, and final product checks.

Develop functional specifications for custom developments and work closely with ABAP developers.

Prepare test cases, conduct unit testing, and support UAT.

Support data migration activities related to QM master data (inspection plans, characteristics).

Provide production support and resolve tickets within SLA.

Train end-users and create process documentation.

Required Skills and Experience:

8 to 12+ years of SAP QM experience, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.

Strong configuration experience in core QM processes.

Good understanding of quality processes in discrete and process industries.

Experience in integration with MM, PP, and SD modules.

Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA QM is highly desirable.

Familiarity with Fiori apps related to QM processes is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP S/4HANA Certification in Quality Management.

Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology.

Exposure to non-conformance management tools or third-party QM systems is beneficial.
