We have been mandated by a large conglomerate which is into Steel Manufacturing for the below mentioned role.

Job Summary:

SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP PS solutions aligned with business project execution requirements.
• Configure SAP PS modules including WBS, networks, milestones, activities, budgeting, settlement profiles, cost planning, and progress tracking.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Support end-to-end project lifecycle including blueprinting, realization, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Integrate SAP PS with other modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, and PM.
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvements for SAP PS functionalities.
• Develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements in collaboration with ABAP teams.
• Conduct user training and develop documentation (user manuals, SOPs, training decks).
• Participate in periodic audits and ensure compliance with internal and external project accounting standards.

Desired Profile:

• Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) in

  Mechanical

  or

  Production Engineering

  .
• 810 years of total experience with

  minimum 3 years of functional experience in SAP PS

  .
• Preferably worked in

  Metals & Mining or Heavy Manufacturing sectors

  .
• Strong understanding of project execution processes like Capex, Shutdown Maintenance, Turnaround Projects, or EPC projects.
• Hands-on experience in integrating SAP PS with relevant SAP modules.
• Familiar with

  project budgeting, tracking, and cost control

  mechanisms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• SAP Certification in PS Module is an added advantage.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel to plant locations if needed.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Should be proactive and self-motivated.
