SAP Production Planning (PP)

As an SAP Production Planning Techno-Functional Expert at MSIL, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the successful implementation and support of SAP PP in alignment with business requirements. You will collaborate with core business teams, SAP IT teams, and SI partners to ensure the seamless integration of the PP module as per the project plan. Acting as a liaison between business functions and technical teams, you will conduct detailed analysis of complex business processes, identify gaps, and provide system solutions while documenting business requirements. Your role will also involve working closely with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, procurement, and finance to integrate SAP PP with other SAP modules and external systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting software problems, documenting functional designs and test cases, and validating functional specification documents prepared by SI partners. To ensure the efficiency of planning processes, inventory control, and capacity management, you will develop and implement SAP PP strategies, policies, and procedures. Furthermore, you will provide subject matter expert services on SAP PP and conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of SAP PP functionalities and best practices. In order to meet the challenges of the role, you should possess adequate SAP Techno-Functional knowledge in SAP PP module, familiarity with SAP technical architecture and ABAP programming, as well as understanding of MM module and relevant integration dependencies. Your interactions will involve collaborating with internal SAP Business and IT core team members, as well as external vendors and SI partners to validate technical solutions and ensure end-to-end process implementation. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field, along with SAP Certification/Training in PP and MM modules. You should have 6-8 years of experience as an SAP PP Senior Consultant, with domain expertise in the automotive industry being an added advantage. Knowledge of production planning business processes, SAP PP configuration, master data, integration with other SAP modules, and experience in global template implementation are also essential for this role.,
