SAP Production Planning (PP) Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of current business processes across all regions and plants.
• Analyze the functionality of existing legacy MRP systems and related upstream/downstream applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to transform current processes and legacy systems to industry best standards and technologies, focusing on the SAP PP module.
• Lead conference room pilots (CRPs) to map as-is and to-be processes, identifying critical functionality and process gaps.
• Recommend technology and process solutions to address identified gaps.
• Develop a clear transformation roadmap that minimizes operational impact.
• Deploy SAP S/4HANA PP module globally across multiple sites.
• Ensure seamless integration with legacy systems and other best-in-class applications, including PLM tools.
• Provide ongoing support, consultation, and knowledge sharing with business partners and technical teams.
• Demonstrate respect, empathy, and excellent problem-solving skills within teams and stakeholder groups.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 4+ years as an SAP PP functional consultant with at least one end-to-end implementation.
• Strong experience in the automotive industry.
• Expertise in IPPE Product Structure, Variant Configuration, and Classic BOM.
• Proficiency in SAP PP module configuration (Discrete and Repetitive manufacturing).
• Hands-on experience in greenfield and brownfield SAP PP deployments.
• Experience working within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge or exposure to SAP PPDS and IPPE Process Structure is preferred.
• Experience integrating SAP with Siemens PLM, KENAXIS tools, or other PLM systems.
• Familiarity with business process transformation and agile delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of software design patterns.
• Excellent consultation and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to PLM and Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes.
• Additional certifications or training related to automotive manufacturing or SAP modules.
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline.
