SAP Performance Engineer

As a passionate Performance Engineer at Apple IS&T, you will have the opportunity to work on performance testing and engineering of various software applications and technologies across different business segments. Your role will involve collaborating with development engineers and functional analysts to understand new software and identify performance tuning opportunities. You will be working on cutting-edge technologies like Business Technology Platform (BTP) as you design and conduct performance tests. Your in-depth knowledge and experience in performance testing, troubleshooting, and analysis will be crucial for success in this role. Responsibilities: - Define, develop, and apply performance/scalability benchmarks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and enhance system performance and scalability. - Utilize various profiling tools efficiently to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis. - Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes. - Plan and execute performance tests using an automated testing environment and analyze the results. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant major. - Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering high-performance SAP enterprise solutions at scale. - Proficiency in performance optimization, monitoring, and tuning for SAP S/4HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP) applications. - Experience in SAP production workload analysis and performance testing for S/4HANA migrations. - Strong knowledge of Oracle & SAP HANA Databases with proven SQL query performance tuning skills. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, ABAP, Java). - Experience with performance testing tools such as Loadrunner Enterprise and Apache JMeter. - Familiarity with application performance monitoring platforms like Dynatrace and AppDynamics. - Experience in integrating AI/ML capabilities into the performance testing and engineering lifecycle. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect and GCP Associate Cloud Engineer are a plus. - Master's Degree is a plus. - Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies. - Experience with Cloud-based platforms like AWS and GCP. - Proficiency in code management using Git.
