SAP Onesource Consultant

Role Overview: You will be working as a Consultant in an individual contributor role, reporting to the Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to support the US geography by applying your functional and technical knowledge of SAP and third-party tax engines like Onesource or Vertex. This hands-on role will require you to establish and maintain relationships with business leaders, drive engagement on major tax integration projects, gather business requirements, lead analysis, and drive high-level end-to-end design. You will also be responsible for driving configuration and development activities to meet business requirements through a combination of internal and external teams. Additionally, you will manage external software vendors and System Integrators on project implementation, ensuring adherence to established SLAs. Taking a domain lead role on IT projects to ensure all business stakeholders are included and receive sufficient and timely communications will be part of your responsibilities. Providing leadership to teams, integrating technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and customers, and mentoring others in the team on process/technical issues will also be crucial. You will be using formal system implementation methodologies during project preparation, requirements gathering, design, build/test, and deployment. Experience in handling support incidents, major incidents, and problems would be an added advantage. This role involves traveling and does not have a busy season.,
