SAP Onesource Consultant

Role Overview: As a Consultant in the Tax Technology team, you will be an individual contributor reporting to the Manager. You will be supporting the US geo with work timing from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST. Your hands-on role will require you to apply functional and technical knowledge of SAP and third party tax engines like Onesource/Vertex. You will establish and maintain relationships with business leaders, drive engagement on major tax integration projects, gather business requirements, lead analysis, and drive high-level E2E design. Key Responsibilities: - Gather business requirements, lead analysis, and drive high-level E2E design - Drive configuration and development activities to meet business requirements through internal and external teams - Manage external software vendors and System Integrators on project implementation, ensuring adherence to established SLAs - Take a domain lead role on IT projects, ensuring all business stakeholders are included and receive sufficient and timely communications - Provide leadership to teams, integrate technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions, consult with team members and other organizations, customers, and vendors on complex issues, and mentor others in the team on process/technical issues - Use formal system implementation methodologies during project preparation, requirements gathering, design, build/test, and deployment - Experience in handling support incidents, major incidents, and problems would be an added advantage Qualification Required: - Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech/MCA - Work experience: Between 4 to 7 years of relevant experience - Mandatory Skills: SAP, Onesource, Vertex, Indirect tax integration - Preferred Skills: Indirect tax concepts, SAP native tax Additional Details: The interview process includes 2 technical rounds and an HR round.
