SAP MDM Product Owner

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business partners to understand data governance requirements and translate them into robust MDG solutions.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions for Business Partner, Customer (MDG-C), and Supplier (MDG-S) domains.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, enforcing best practices and standards.
• Configure and customize SAP MDG on SAP S/4HANA in alignment with the overall MDM strategy.
• Develop and maintain data models, workflows, and business rules within the MDG framework.
• Facilitate integration of MDG with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and corporate standards.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
• Mentor junior team members and drive knowledge sharing.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design specs, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
• Conduct training sessions for stakeholders and end-users.
• Follow Agile development methodologies to design, build, implement, and deploy solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• 9 to 12 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in SAP MDG implementation (configuration, design, build, test, deploy) for MDG-BP, MDG-C, and MDG-S domains.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, or PM modules.
• Deep knowledge of SAP MDG concepts including Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Governance Process, Mass Processing, DRF, DIF, BRF+, Consolidation, and Data Quality Management (DQM).
• Proficiency in configuring rule-based workflows (serial, parallel, combination) and user interface modeling.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with SAP UI technologies such as FIORI, WebDynpro ABAP, WEBUI, FPM, and UI5.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile development environment.
• Understanding of enterprise data strategy, governance, and infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid on-premises infrastructure.
• Collaboration and project delivery skills in a multi-team environment.
• Knowledge of SAP ARIBA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Data Intelligence (DI), Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), and SAP Datasphere.

Professional Certifications (Preferred):

• SAP MDG Certification
• SAP MM or SD Certification
• SAP ABAP Certification
• Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
