SAP MDM Consultant

As an SAP Product MDM Data Specialist, your role is crucial to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product-related master data within the enterprise systems, primarily SAP. You will be the key steward for the product master domain, responsible for supporting the creation, maintenance, and governance of material records essential for commercial, operational, and supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to ongoing cleansing and maintenance of product and pricing data by enforcing data entry standards for formatting, completeness, and accuracy for attributes within the product master and related domains. - Support the development and enforcement of data governance policies and standards to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. - Assist in managing changes to master data (creates, updates) while adhering to MDM governance. - Support the maintenance and management of metadata, including definitions, data lineage, and data ownership, to enhance understanding of MDM governance. - Identify and address systemic gaps for resolution, provide training and support to team members on data management tools, processes, and best practices, and promote a culture of responsibility in data stewardship. Qualifications Required: - Total SAP hands-on experience of 8 to 10 years or more. - Local candidates from Pune only. - Immediate joiners preferred (within 1 week). This role not only contributes to business continuity and efficiency but also plays a vital part in the broader Master Data Management (MDM) strategy of the organization. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring data quality management, data governance, change management, and metadata management support, you will enable timely product launches, accurate pricing and availability, and seamless order fulfillment.,
