Role Overview: As an experienced Systems/Information Technology professional at Cummins Inc., you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating application functionality to enhance business processes and capabilities. You will work on determining optimum application setup, developing expertise in emerging trends, conducting analysis of potential solutions, and maintaining relationships with vendors. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to gather requirements, create functional designs, and manage specifications for projects. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and evaluate application functionality to recommend improvements in business processes. - Determine and document optimal application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements. - Develop expertise in emerging application trends and provide functional recommendations. - Identify and recommend solutions to address functionality gaps in the application. - Maintain strong relationships with vendors to enhance application functionality. - Collaborate with process owners, business analysts, and architects to gather and document requirements. - Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned applications for projects and support. - Create and manage functional specifications for projects. Qualifications: - A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field is required. - SAP experience in modules like MM, PP, LE, EWM, with certification in at least 2 modules. - Experience in non-SAP systems integrations using Mulesoft or other middleware. - Experience in Automotive, Manufacturing, Retail, or Distribution industries.
