SAP IBP Consultant - E2E Implementation

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and support successful end-to-end implementations of SAP IBP in client organizations.
• Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to grow the IBP services business aligned with organizational goals.
• Mentor junior IBP team members within the organization to build capability.
• Assist in building reusable assets and accelerators within SAP IBP to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Lead and conduct design workshops for both business and IT stakeholders.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business user training sessions.
• Handle complex configuration tasks including creation of planning areas, key figure calculations, planning views, and application jobs to support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Apply deep knowledge of statistical forecasting algorithms, product segmentation, driver-based planning, and S&OP heuristics including forecast consumption.
• Understand ECC master and transaction data from a planning perspective and prepare specifications for CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) tasks.
• Provide expertise in SAP IBP modules, especially Sales and Operations Planning.
• Utilize knowledge of SAP PP (Production Planning) or SD (Sales and Distribution) as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Graduate in Engineering; Postgraduate degree such as MBA, MTech, or MS in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of supply chain planning experience with at least 3 years dedicated to SAP IBP implementations.
• Experience with at least two full-cycle SAP IBP implementations (excluding rollouts) is mandatory.
• Experience in SAP APO or other planning solutions is desirable.

Process Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes.
• Familiarity with the SCOR model is preferred.
• Industry expertise in at least two sectors such as CPG, Chemical, Automotive, Life Sciences, etc.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of all SAP IBP modules, with expertise in S&OP.
• Ability to handle complex IBP configurations and customization.
• Skilled in statistical forecasting, segmentation, driver-based planning, and heuristic algorithms within IBP.
• Knowledge of ECC master and transactional data for planning.
• Capable of preparing CPI task specifications.

• Strong mentoring and training skills for junior team members.
