SAP HANA FICO-Revenue Recognition

Job Description:

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP RAR solutions in alignment with business and compliance requirements.

Manage end-to-end revenue recognition processes across SD, BRIM, and SCM modules in S/4HANA.

Ensure compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance, and IT teams to translate business needs into system solutions.

Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to revenue recognition.

Provide expertise in system testing, defect resolution, and user training.

Work with BI/Analytics teams to design reporting solutions for revenue, billing, and contract management.

Drive continuous improvements and best practices in revenue recognition processes.

Required Skills & Experience

6–12 years of overall SAP consulting/implementation experience.

Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA with focus on SD, BRIM, SCM.

Proven hands-on experience with SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting).

Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles and compliance (IFRS/ASC 606).

Strong integration knowledge across FI, CO, and Logistics modules.

Experience in system design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to Business Intelligence / Analytics tools (SAP BI, SAC, Power BI, or similar).

Experience in large-scale global implementations and rollouts.

Knowledge of BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) subscription and contract management processes.

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

SAP certification in S/4HANA Finance, SD, or RAR is a plus.
