Senior SAP GTS Consultant (with SD Experience)

Location: Remote (India)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP GTS implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.  
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand global trade and compliance requirements and translate them into system solutions.  
• Integrate SAP GTS with SD, MM, and ECC/S4HANA systems for seamless business processes.  
• Configure and support GTS functionalities such as Customs Management, Compliance Management, and Risk Management.  
• Handle Legal Control, Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening, Export/Import processes, and License Determination.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, FI, and Basis) to ensure end-to-end process integrity.  
• Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and implement system enhancements.  
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with technical teams for delivery.  
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices documentation.  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of total SAP experience with at least 5 years in SAP GTS.  
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD and its integration with GTS.  
• Experience in full-cycle implementations and support of SAP GTS (preferably on S/4HANA).  
• Good understanding of global trade compliance, export/import processes, and logistics execution.  
• Proficiency in configuration, debugging, and issue resolution.  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.  
• Ability to work independently in a remote and global environment.  

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in GTS or SD.  
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or upgrade projects.  
• Exposure to integration with non-SAP systems or third-party compliance tools.
